7 DAY SMOKE AWAY

QUITTING STORIES:

Why I Stopped Smoking...
Ads Endorsed by Quit4Good.com

I've been around smokers all my life. I have smoked for Half of my life. Usually from morning till night there was a cigarette smoking in my mouth. The main reason I finally got my act together and stopped smoking was because it was beginning to become difficult for me to breath. I found that under even minimal physical activity, I was unusually tired and out of breath. I could feel my lung capacity diminishing over time. It's not easy quitting, but it must be done. Smoking WILL kill you! It's just a matter of time. Will it kill you young? Or will it kill you old? That is the only uncertenty. So your probably beginning to wonder how I quit. Well, have no fear, I'm going to tell you all about it... What tricks, tips, or pills did I use? NONE! I did have to muster up some good 'ole will power though. Didn't cost me next months rent like most these other bologna programs out there on the internet. I used nothing to aid me. I quit cold turket... I said to myself. Self - your definetly going to die from these cigarettes. Do I want to live or die? That was it - I stopped immediatly...

Some things I changed:
1 - Stopped Drinking Coffee - Switched to Tea
2 - Asked Smoking Wife to Smoke Outside.

How do I get through the depression and bad moods? I quit 6 days ago and I am using the patch. Two days ago I got St.Johns Wart, but I hate when I feel like I could just snap. I do the deep breaths but sometimes I cant just go for a walk. Is there medication or do you have any other suggestions? Thanks for the help. I need it!!!

Hello,
Thanks for your website!

Could you explain this to me further.
Did you know that some foods contain L-tyrosine, an enzyme that relaxes neurotransmitters in the brain?
I need to stop smoking really, really bad. I have a thyroid problem and need to know how L-tyrosine plays in all this. Any help appreciated.

Im quitting marijuana for many reasons but Im tired of reading lies such as pot smoke is twice as deadly than ciggarettes its funny how often I hear that yet go into any hospital in American and show me one case where someone is dying from Lung Cancer induced by pot smoke with 11 million people smoking it regulary if it was as bad as cigs wouldnt there be at least one person dying from it?

I was reading the information on this website about effects of marijuana because my friend is pregnant and wants to know what the effects might be. I do smoke pot and I wanted to let you know that when you described the meaning of “burnout”, it seemed incorrect for this day in age. Me and every other pot head in the world would know that “burnout” means that you are coming down from your high and feel like going to sleep or need to smoke more (that makes you fall asleep faster). You don’t have to be smoking pot for an extended period of time to be a burnout, you can smoke weed for your very first time and then when the high is over, you are “burnt out”. Thought I would share my opinion! Thanks!
